Many new parents do not know what to do when their little ones start developing teeth. Teething is the process or the period when newborn babies start to show signs that they are developing their teeth. Before the first tooth emerges, it involves a process and period that disrupts the normal conditions for the child. When the child starts the teething process, some symptoms can disrupt their normal daily routines. The child can start biting on everything they get their hands-on, and at the same time become uncontrollable. This is caused by pain or irritation they feel on their gums as the baby teeth start to erupt from underneath the gums. The period can be painful, but as a parent, there are measures that you can you take to help your child through the process.
Give Them Something Cold to Bite
When the teeth start to emerge from underneath the gum, the process involves cutting the gums. This can cause irritation and pain on the gums of the baby. To soothe the pain, you can give them something cold, such as bay teething rings which can be excellent in soothing their pain.
Sooth Their Gums by Giving Them a Massage
You can massage their gums using a cold or wet cloth, that can relieve the pain. Avoid using something frozen, as this can damage their nerve endings. Uses your finger to gently rub their gums, as this will help reduce the pain.
Bring Them to the dentist's Office
