Meet Dr. Clayton Hise

Dr. Clayton Hise grew up mostly in Northern New Jersey after being born in New York City. He completed his undergraduate degree at Temple University in Philadelphia before pursuing dentistry at Fairleigh Dickinson University School of Dental Medicine, earning his DMD in 1975. He then spent three years in surgical training at Lincoln Hospital in the Bronx, finishing his residency in 1978.

Afterward, Dr. Hise returned to Northern New Jersey, where he spent four years in private practice while also teaching oral surgery at Fairleigh Dickinson. He earned his board certification in oral and maxillofacial surgery in 1981. In 1983 he made the move to the Hudson Valley, where he has practiced oral surgery ever since. He belongs to the Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons at both the New York State and national levels.

For the past 50 years, his goal has been to provide each patient the highest quality of care. Dr. Hise is a firm believer in treating people the way you would like to be treated.

Outside the office, he enjoys picking up a new book, traveling to new places around the world, and spending quiet time upstate with his wife.
