Meet Dr. Anthony Pavone

Dr. Anthony Pavone, DDS, MD, FACS, grew up in Liverpool, New York, just outside Syracuse. He attended Cornell University in Ithaca as a student-athlete, graduating in 1995 with a Bachelor of Science in genetics and development. He earned Dean's List honors throughout his time there and was inducted into the Red Key Society, an honor reserved for students who excel both academically and athletically.

He went on to the New York University College of Dentistry, graduating in 2000 with a Doctorate of Dental Surgery and finishing at the top of a class of more than 400 students as valedictorian.

He later attended the NYU School of Medicine, earning his Doctorate of Medicine in 2004. His specialty training included oral and maxillofacial surgery along with a full year of general surgery at NYU/Bellevue Hospital Center in New York City, along with advanced training in general anesthesia.

Dr. Pavone holds board certification from the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and has earned recognition as a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, a distinction awarded by peers to surgeons of exceptional skill.

He belongs to a wide range of professional organizations, including the American Medical and American Dental Associations, the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, the NYS Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, the Bergen County and Rockland County Dental Societies, the Dr. William F. Harrigan Society, and Alpha Omega International Dental Fraternity.

Dr. Pavone lives in New Jersey with his wife, Jennifer, and their two children.
