Dr. Pavone graduated from NYU College of Dentistry with a Doctorate of Dental Surgery in May 2000. He was Valedictorian of his dental class of over 400 students. He also attended NYU School of Medicine and received his Doctorate of Medicine in 2004. Dr. Pavone completed specialty training in oral and maxillofacial surgery, as well as a full year of general surgery training at NYU/Bellevue Hospital Center in New York City. Additionally he received advanced training in general anesthesia.
Dr. Pavone is Board Certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillo-Facial Surgery. He has the additional distinction of being recognized as a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, which distinguishes him as an exceptional surgeon by his peers within the medical community. He has memberships in many professional organizations: American Medical & American Dental Associations, American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, NYS Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, Bergen County Dental Society, Rockland County Dental Society, Dr. William F. Harrigan Society & Alpha Omega International Dental Fraternity.
Dr. Pavone volunteers for Donated Dental Services. The NY State Dental Foundation and the National Foundation of Dentistry provide this amazing service for the handicapped, linking volunteer dentists, oral surgeons and dental laboratories throughout New York with elderly, disabled, and medically compromised individuals who cannot afford needed dental and oral surgery treatment.
Dr. Pavone is married and lives in New Jersey with his wife Jennifer and two children.
